Swing back into healthy habits with these helpful tips and check them off your to-do list:

☑️ Drop the “all or nothing” mentality. It’s not sustainable for long-term weight loss success nor weight loss maintenance. Instead of falling back into old habits where instant results were supreme, focus on making small, sustainable changes that you can add onto over time throughout your weight loss and health journey. Small healthy changes that you can incorporate into your daily schedule include getting your daily water intake, walking more, and adding more veggies into your meals. As one new habit becomes routine for you, then add in another one. Remind yourself that losing weight and getting healthy is a marathon and not a sprint, and that change isn’t going to happen overnight.

☑️ Be consistent. We probably sound like a broken record but for good reason — consistency is KEY for any change you’re making in your life and the most often overlooked factor with any health journey. Maybe you’re not seeing results fast enough or maybe you’ve become complacent in your journey and started regressing back to unhealthy habits. It’s important to remind yourself (over and over again) that change takes time. Stuck at a plateau and not seeing any progress? Check out our top tips for breaking through them! Getting bored with your current routine? Research different fitness activities and foods you can incorporate into your daily planning to shake things up AND help you reach your goals.

☑️ Celebrate every success! Are you training for a 5k and successfully ran your first mile non-stop? Are you losing weight and hit the 5-pound mark? 10-pounds? 20?!!! Were you able to hold that yoga pose you’ve been working on? Maybe you went down a size in clothing? Celebrate each victory in your journey by recognizing your progress and how far you’ve come!
