How to Check Your Step Challenge Stats with HealthyWage

Want to get paid for being active? Check out a HealthyWage Step Challenge where you can win cash prizes for increasing your individual steps! The HealthyWage app, available on iOS and Android, allows you to stay up-to-date on your current step challenge stats, as well as your fellow challengers for some healthy competition and motivation. Here’s how to check your step challenge stats with HealthyWage:

After signing up for a HealthyWage Step Challenge and connecting your tracking device, you’ll be presented with your overall step challenge goal (i.e. 600,000 steps) as well as a daily step goal (i.e. 10,000 steps) you’ll want to strive for to help you stay on track to hitting your goal and winning a piece of the challenge prize pot!

First and foremost, we recommend logging into the app at least once a day to ensure your step tracking device is syncing correctly and accurately logging your steps. If the app doesn’t automatically sync with your tracking device, you can do two things: (1) tap the “Steps” tab at the bottom of your screen and then tap the “Sync Now” button in orange; and (2) if it’s not syncing, you can reset your tracking device connection in the app by going to Menu > Settings > Device in the App.

IMPORTANT: During your step challenge, you may notice your Daily Steps resetting to ‘0’ each evening (7pm ET). This is not an error and your steps are being counted. The app displays your Daily Steps in UTC (Coordinated Universal Time) and sometimes reset to ‘0’ at midnight UTC. Our team is currently in the process of resolving this issue, but in the meantime, please know that your steps logged on your device by 11:59PM your local time zone are credited to your step challenge. You can confirm your total daily steps in the app the next day to ensure accuracy.

So, how do you know if you’re on track to winning a piece of the prize pot…or need to step it up? Easy! In the app, click on the “My Stats” tab at the bottom and then select the step challenge you want to view. Two stats you’ll want to focus on every day are your “Actual Daily Steps” and “Daily Steps Needed to Win.” If you’re falling behind, your Progress Status will say “More focused needed!” with a yellow dot and if you’re crushing your goal, it’ll say “Great job!” with a green dot. TIP: If you’re seeing yellow, you’re being too mellow. Seeing green? Congrats, you’re a lean, mean, stepping machine!

In addition to checking your daily stats, we often get the question, “What does Progress Towards Goal mean?” This is your total steps taken so far in your challenge but listed as a percentage to help give you a visual of how close you are to reaching your step goal.

Don’t forget to have fun too! Share fun ways you’re getting in your steps, cheer on your fellow challengers, and use the Stats & Standings leaderboard as an added incentive to keep you on track! Remember, these standings are just for fun and do not affect the outcome of your HealthyWage Step Challenge Interested in joining a HealthyWage Step Challenge?
