How Does HealthyWage Make Money?

HealthyWage is an app that uses cash-based weight loss challenges as motivation and incentive in helping individuals succeed with their health and wellness goals. In addition to be asked,”is HealthyWage legit?” which of course the answer is YES, another frequent question we hear is “how does HealthyWage make money?” Read below to learn about our various revenue streams.

One source of revenue comes from HealthyWage participants who do not win their challenge(s). Our revenue from challenge registrations is greater than than the amount of prizes we pay out. If a participant fails to achieve their challenge goal, their winnings then go to pay out winners / successful challenge participants. Although HealthyWage uses the word “bet” to explain our weight loss challenge concept, it’s not gambling nor the same as going to a casino — the house isn’t guaranteed to win because each individual participant is in control of their challenge outcome at all times. It’s important to note that even participants who do not win their challenge(s) still report weight loss, proving financial incentives are a powerful tool even if you don’t achieve your goal.

Another and prominent source of revenue is from corporations, government clients, and major school districts who use HealthyWage as a resource for corporate wellness challenges.
